Farm Aid Festival

The Ruoff Music Center will be the site of the Farm Aid Festival on Saturday, September 23, 2023. This will be the first time the festival has been held in Indiana.

Farm Aid was started in 1985 by Willie Nelson, Neil Young, and John Mellencamp to help family farmers stay on their land. The festival has been held every year since, except for one year, 2001, when the attacks of September 11th forced its cancellation.

The lineup for the 2023 festival has not been announced yet, but previous years have featured a mix of country, rock, and folk performers. This year’s festival will also have a focus on sustainability and regenerative agriculture.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale in June. Prices have not been announced yet, but tickets for the 2019 festival ranged from $49-199.

If you’re a fan of live music and want to support family farmers, the Farm Aid Festival is the perfect event for you.
