Dead & Company
The Grateful Dead’s final tour may have ended in 1995, but that hasn’t stopped diehard fans from seeing the band in any form they can. And on Tuesday June 27th, 2023, they’ll have the chance to see Dead & Company, featuring three of the four original members of the Grateful Dead, perform at the Ruoff Music Center.
The current lineup of Dead & Company features Bob Weir on rhythm guitar and vocals, Bill Kreutzmann on drums, and Mickey Hart on percussion, along with John Mayer on lead guitar, Oteil Burbridge on bass, and Jeff Chimenti on keyboards. The band has been touring since 2015, and has become known for their long, jam-filled shows that often feature multiple setlists and guest appearances.
For many fans, seeing Dead & Company is the closest they’ll ever get to seeing the Grateful Dead perform live. And with the band’s three surviving original members all in their 70s, it’s possible that this could be the last time they ever tour. So don’t miss your chance to see them live in 2023!
